Bahrain imports reach USD2.99bn exports hit USD1.57bn


(MENAFN) The value of imports by Bahrain hit USD2.99bn amid the first quarter this year, whereas the value of national exports reached USD1.57bn.

Furthermore, trade balance reached BD399bn; the difference between exports and imports, as proclaimed repot by Information& e-Government Authority for the cited period.

Accordingly, China topped the list of exporters to the country with BD135bn worth goods; the UAE came second with BD118mn and the U.S. with BD83mn.

Meanwhile, on the exports front, Saudi Arabia topped the list with BD141mn; U.S. came second with BD115mn and the UAE third with BD68mn.
