Big 5 Construct North Africa Launches in Casablanca


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – Designed for architects, engineers, contractors, and Moroccan construction professionals, The Big 5 Construct North Africa 2017 will run on April 25-27, at the Parc Des Expositions de l'Office des Changes, in Casablanca.

Billed on the event's Facebook page as a %E2%80%9Cmust attend event,%E2%80%9D the international building and construction show will feature more than 160 exhibitors from companies located in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. According to information on the page, Morocco will be represented by twenty companies, spanning all aspects of the construction industry. They include Mall Zellij, Chaoui Bois, Vicaima Africa, Le Comptoir and Patmas Afrique.

Billed as an opportunity to build contacts and share innovation, the event will showcase thousands of cutting-edge construction products and technologies over the three days. More than 4,000 visitors are expected to attend the event being held in Morocco for the first time.

Beyond the presentation of innovative products for the construction industry, the event includes 10 free certified Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshops. They are led by experts who share their in-depth knowledge of the construction sector, says DMG Events, the show's organizer.

Founded 37 years ago in Dubai, the event has grown exponentially over the years. During the 2016 conference more than 35,600 exhibitors, 195,500 visitors, 1000 speakers and 20,000 participants. Thirty Moroccan companies, supervised by Maroc Export, have taken part in the different editions of the Big 5 Dubai.

The Big 5 takes its name from the 5 sectors of construction namely; mechanics, electricity and plumbing, interior constructions and finishes, tools and building materials, building envelope and special constructions and machinery and vehicles.
