(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, March 28 (Petra) -- Israeli military bulldozers early Tuesday demolished two Palestinian-owned homes in al-Esaweyeh in East Jerusalem claiming they lack building permit, a Palestinian source said.
According to a statement by Head Palestinian Popular Committees for Resisting the Wall and Settlements,in al-Esaweyeh, Marwan Abu Humos, several Israeli army vehicles, and armored bulldozers stormed the town early Tuesday, imposed tight military cordon around the two houses and started destructing them.
The two houses were broken down under the pretext they were built without a construction permit, the statement added.
