Jordan's budget deficit falls to JD803mn


(MENAFN) The general budget deficit in Jordan reached JD803.3mn at the end of Nov 2016 after foreign grants compared to JD1.25bn in the same period of 2015.

On the other hand, deficit before foreign grants reached JD1.209bn compared to JD1.47bn in the same period.

Moreover, local incomes and foreign grants stood at JD6.187bn compared to JD5.735bn, an increase of JD452mn.

In addition, global grants reached JD404mn compared to JD448mn in the same period of 2015, while government spending in 2016 reached 6.99bn.
