Grossman Group Launches CCO Advisory
CHICAGO - The Grossman Group has launched a consulting practice designed to help chief communications officers modernize their communications functions as the role continues to expand.
The new CCO advisory is aimed at communications leaders navigating AI adoption, enterprise transformation, employee experience and growing stakeholder expectations. According to the firm, while CCO responsibilities have broadened, many communications functions have not kept pace in areas such as systems, structure and measurement.
The offering combines organizational diagnostics, strategic counsel, data analysis and ongoing advisory support. Engagements begin with the firm's proprietary Modernization Roadmap, which evaluates communications operations across seven areas - strategy, structure, systems, DNA, savvy, staff and skills - to identify gaps and prioritize investments aligned with business objectives.
"The CCO role has elevated faster than the function has been equipped to handle it," said David Grossman, founder and CEO of The Grossman Group. "Most CCOs know modernization is the work. Few have a framework for sequencing it. We created The CCO Advisory to help close that gap."
The advisory builds on the Chicago-based firm's work in leadership, culture, employee engagement and organizational change and is available to communications leaders across industries.
