Major Anti-Drug Operation: Kurram Police Incinerate Large Quantity Of Narcotics


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) Kurram District: A large quantity of narcotics recovered during various raids and operations was destroyed today within the jurisdiction of City Police Station under the supervision of the Area Magistrate.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Kurram, Malik Habib, police had recovered a total of 23 maunds of hashish, 65 kilograms of crystal meth (ice), and other types of narcotics during different operations. After completing all legal formalities, the seized drugs were set on fire and destroyed.

Police officials reiterated their commitment to continuing anti-narcotics operations without interruption and stated that there would be no room for those involved in spreading the menace of drugs in society.

It is worth mentioning that police in Kurram District have been consistently conducting operations against drug dealers, resulting in the recovery and destruction of large quantities of narcotics.

Besides the Area Magistrate, the event was attended by SHO City Police Station Nadeem Hussain, SHO Mushtaq Ali, SHO Syed Raza Shah, other police officers, and tribal elders.
