Ukrainian Forces Double Strikes On Russian Targets More Than 50 Km Behind Front Line Fedorov

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In a Facebook post, Fedorov said Ukraine was continuing to wear down the enemy simultaneously in three domains – the air, the ground, and the economy, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, Ukrainian forces killed or seriously wounded 31,530 Russian troops over the past month. He added that an increasing number of Russian personnel are being eliminated far from Ukrainian positions and that each loss has been verified on video.

Fedorov said that Ukraine's "logistics lockdown" campaign was producing results.

"On the president's instructions, we are scaling up strikes on targets at distances of 20-150 kilometers. The number of successful strikes on enemy targets more than 50 kilometers from the line of combat engagement has doubled. We have also achieved record results in the destruction of enemy vehicles and motorcycles," he said.

He stressed that Ukrainian forces are targeting assets that sustain Russia's offensive operations.

"The destruction of logistics, transport, and warehouses forces the enemy to spend resources on survival rather than advancing," Fedorov said.

He added that protecting Ukraine's skies remains a separate priority.

According to the minister, Ukrainian forces shot down a record number of Shahed-type drones in May. Although Russia launched more than 10,000 attack drones during the month – 25% more than in April – the number intercepted increased by 50%.

Fedorov said interceptor drones played an important role in achieving that result.

He also noted that Ukraine is continuing to expand the use of robotic systems on the front line.

According to Fedorov, Ukrainian forces carried out more than 14,000 logistics and evacuation missions using unmanned ground vehicles over the past month, averaging 455 missions per day.

He added that the military's "ePoints" system allows commanders to make decisions based on verified battlefield data in real time, helping identify the most effective units, technologies, and tactics and quickly scale them across the armed forces.

Earlier, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense and the General Staff announced the launch of the "logistics lockdown" program aimed at expanding medium-range strikes against Russia's rear logistics infrastructure.
