Shola Apena Rogers

Dr Shola Apena Rogers is a chartered forensic psychologist with research interests in violence affecting young people and their families, trauma informed care, sexual offending on public transport, and experiences of race and racism in practitioners. She is a registered practitioner with the HCPC.
Shola is an experienced practitioner and researcher who has worked within various settings, including the Criminal Justice System, Children's Social Care, the NHS, and the voluntary sector. She previously worked in collaboration with the British Transport Police in the area of sexual assault on public transport exploring crime prevention approaches for her PhD. She has extensive experience employing evaluation methodology to address social justice issues.
