I am a Professor of Leadership and Management in the Zimpleman College of Business at Drake University. I received my PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Minnesota. My research interests include virtual work, virtual teams, and virtual leadership, employee motivation and well-being, and women's career advancement and leadership development. My research on these topics has appeared in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Psychology, The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business and Psychology, Applied Psychology, Group & Organization Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Performance, and Small Group Research.
