Bannu Woman Disowns Son Publicly, Appeals For Protection Amid Alleged Harassment Of Family
Amina Bibi, the widow of the late Habibullah, said that her son Saqib left home in 2010 and has had no contact with the family since then. According to her, he chose a path against his parents' will and is no longer part of the family.
She stated that due to her son's alleged activities, the entire family has faced severe difficulties, pressure, and financial hardship. She added that their home was damaged, and other family members also faced various problems.
Amina Bibi further alleged that members of her family were arrested multiple times and later released after bearing legal expenses. She said that continuous pressure and fear have caused the family significant mental and financial distress.
She also shared that, due to the situation, the family temporarily migrated to Karachi but had to return to Bannu because of financial constraints. Referring to her grandson, she said that repeated changes of schools have affected his education, putting his future at risk.

Amina Bibi urged the government and relevant institutions not to target her family based on the alleged actions of any individual and to allow them to live a peaceful life.
It is worth noting that this is the fourth such case of disassociation reported in Bannu within the last 11 days, where families have publicly distanced themselves from individuals allegedly linked to a banned organization.
