Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Debris Was Discovered at Moscow Airport


(MENAFN) Fragments believed to be from an unmanned aerial vehicle were discovered Sunday on the premises of Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport, according to reports.

Airport authorities said the debris landed far from passenger terminals and aircraft operational zones, with no injuries or property damage recorded.

According to a statement shared through the airport’s official Telegram channel, normal airport operations continued without disruption, and services for travelers and aircraft remained fully functional.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the area to secure the site and carry out the necessary safety procedures.

Sheremetyevo International Airport, situated northwest of the Russian capital, is considered one of the country’s busiest air transport hubs.
