Votatec Launches 155 Lumens-Per-Watt UFO LED High Bay Series For Canadian Warehouse Retrofits
(MENAFN- ForPressRelease)
Votatec, a Canadian wholesale supplier of commercial and industrial LED lighting, has launched its ProSeries UFO LED High Bay line for warehouse, distribution centre, and manufacturing retrofits across Canada. The new fixtures hit 155 lumens per watt at 5000K, carry DLC 6.0 Premium listing, and are built to replace 400W metal halide and 320W HPS legacy fixtures with payback periods as short as 14 months when stacked with utility rebates.
The ProSeries line covers two wattages tuned for typical Canadian retrofit specs. The 240W model delivers 37.2K lumens at 155 lm/W and replaces 400W metal halide one-for-one. The 300W model puts out 45K lumens with the same efficacy and drops into 1000W HID applications in high-ceiling distribution centres. Both fixtures carry an IP65 dust and water rating, IK08 impact resistance, and a 50,000-hour L70 rated life.
Standard features include 0-10V dimming, integrated occupancy sensor compatibility, and a 120-277V universal driver. The fixtures ship with a 5-year warranty and meet DLC 6.0 Premium thresholds for utility rebate eligibility across Save on Energy, BC Hydro, Hydro-Québec, and SaskPower programs.
Real-world numbers are strong. A 50K square foot Mississauga distribution warehouse that swapped 120 of its 400W metal halide fixtures for 150W LED UFO high bays reported 14-month payback and roughly $34.5K in annual electricity savings. The new ProSeries 240W can hit similar numbers with higher light output, giving facility managers room to add fixtures without raising the energy bill.
In 2026, Ontario's IESO is offering Regional Adder bonuses in high-demand zones, including parts of the GTA, that can push total rebate coverage close to 50% of project cost. Save on Energy point-of-sale discounts cover up to $90 per LED high bay through participating distributors. Small business customers with 50 or fewer employees can stack up to $3K in additional lighting upgrade incentives.
"Most warehouses we see still run 400W metal halide or T5HO fluorescent. The math just works," said [SPOKESPERSON_NAME], [TITLE] at Votatec. "ProSeries gives contractors a single-SKU answer for Ontario warehouse retrofits that hits DLC Premium, qualifies for the rebate, and ships from our Canadian warehouse so they don't get stuck on cross-border lead times."
ProSeries spec sheets, IES files, and DLC listing IDs are at votatec. Project quotes and volume pricing for orders of 50 fixtures or more are handled directly by the Votatec sales team.
