Afghan Envoy Appreciates Repatriation Efforts, Highlights Improved Situation In KP Camps
During the exchange, both sides reviewed ongoing arrangements and coordination related to the return of Afghan nationals. The Afghan ambassador appreciated the Chief Minister's visit to repatriation centers and acknowledged a noticeable improvement in the overall situation.
The envoy also expressed gratitude over the increased number of NADRA mobile vans and requested further expansion of registration facilities. He further urged that refugees who have completed their registration process should be allowed to return to Afghanistan without delay.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi reiterated that Afghan refugees are considered brothers and that Pakistan continues to hope for improved conditions for them. He said refugees are guests and the provincial government is ensuring all possible facilities for them, with further improvements underway.
He added that instructions had already been issued to increase the number of registration counters and NADRA vans, and more expansion would be carried out where needed.
Afridi further stated that he is personally monitoring repatriation camps and the facilities being provided there on a daily basis to ensure smooth and humane arrangements for returning refugees.
