"Yesterday, 27 people were evacuated, but the day before - 167. The Kupiansk direction is currently the most active in terms of departures. This includes the Shevchenkove community and settlements beyond the Oskil River. The area beyond the Oskil is the most difficult for evacuation, which is carried out exclusively thanks to our military," he said.
According to him, people are driven to evacuate by the lack of communication, heating, and water supply for years.
"Apartment buildings in Kupiansk are constantly under shelling. People lived in buildings where several sections have already been destroyed. We have data that 420 people remain in the city. People continue to leave, but the pace is still not what we would like," Syniehubov said.
