KP Government Makes Biometric Registration Mandatory For Fuel Subsidy
According to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, under the“Ehsaas Fuel Support Scheme,” eligible citizens will receive 2,000 PKR per month to help ease the burden of rising petrol prices.
Additionally, the fee for transferring motorcycle ownership has also been waived, providing further convenience to the public.

Government officials stated that this subsidy will only be given to individuals whose motorcycle or scooter is registered and owned in their name. Payments will be made directly through JazzCash to ensure transparency.
To register, citizens need to download the“Dastak” app, create an account, and then enter their motorcycle or scooter registration and chassis numbers. They must also upload copies of their CNIC, bike card, and vehicle photos to submit the application.
After submitting the application, biometric verification at a nearby center is mandatory.
