Russian Missile Strike Damages Kotliarevsky University Of Arts In Kharkiv
According to the ministry, the dormitory of the educational institution at 50 Myroslava Mysli Street was damaged. The central building at 11 Constitution Square was also damaged, in particular, the windows of the building were damaged.
As noted, the I. P. Kotliarevsky Kharkiv National University of Arts is one of Ukraine's leading higher education institutions and a creative and scientific-methodological center for music and theater education in Slobozhanshchyna with over a century of history.
In addition, the university is a member of the European Association of Conservatories, the European Association of Universities, and the European League of Universities of the Arts.
The Ministry of Culture recalled that the institution had already suffered damage during the first enemy shelling of Kharkiv in the spring of 2022. At that time, the roof was damaged, windows were broken, and pipes and batteries cracked due to prolonged exposure to sub-zero temperatures and rain.
According to the ministry, 1,685 cultural heritage sites and 2,483 cultural infrastructure facilities have been destroyed or damaged as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine. In particular, 349 monuments have been destroyed in the Kharkiv region.

Later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that Russians had attacked a dormitory in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire.
