(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was announced on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.

“The total capacity of the batch is 1.6 MW, and the cost is over €417,000. The equipment is already being delivered to regions that are most in need of backup power due to damage to energy infrastructure as a result of Russian attacks,” Kuleba wrote.

It is noted that the equipment will be delivered to Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Lviv. Hospitals, maternity hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and other social facilities are the priority.

Kuleba thanked the partners for their help and stressed that Russian attacks on energy and utility infrastructure remain systematic, and the development of distributed generation and backup solutions allows communities to provide basic services even in crisis conditions.

As reported, on February 7, Russian troops attacked energy facilities in eight regions of Ukraine. Most regions of Ukraine are currently under emergency power cuts, which will be lifted once the energy system stabilizes.
