AFC Futsal Asian Cup: Afghanistan To Take On Japan Today

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan national futsal team will face the Japan in the quarterfinals of the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup on Tuesday.
The match will kick off at 2:30 PM Afghanistan time at the Velodrome Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The winner will advance to the semifinals.
In the group stage, Afghanistan recorded two victories against Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, while suffering one defeat to Iran.
Japan is ranked 13th in the world and 3rd in Asia, whereas Afghanistan is ranked 28th globally and 7th in Asia.
The AFC Futsal Asian Cup has been taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia.
