Islamic Cultural Center Holds Malayalam Lectures Ahead Of Ramadan

Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised a series of lectures for the Malayalam-speaking community, attended by hundreds of speakers of this language. The center seeks to enhance religious awareness among Muslims who do not speak Arabic ahead of the blessed month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Aliyar Ahsan, who is currently hosted by the center, delivered a lecture at the center on adhering to religion in times of tribulation.

He emphasised the importance of faith and religiosity in ensuring spiritual happiness, inner peace, and strengthening cohesion among members of society amid the pressures and various crises surrounding the believing individual. This lecture was attended by 850 people.He also spoke about the challenges facing the Muslim family at Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib Mosque (may Allah be pleased with him) in Al Wakrah, where 635 people attended.

The lecture highlighted the importance of the family in the stability of society and in strengthening its structure and foundations, as well as the need to pay attention to the duties undertaken by the Muslim family towards its children, within the context of their sound upbringing and strengthening their knowledge of their religion.

In addition, he addressed the value of the blessed month under the title“Ramadan: The Spring of the Soul” at Ismail Al Emadi Mosque in Bin Mahmoud area, attended by 500 people. The lecture included an explanation of the significance of the holy month, a reminder of the value of seasons of obedience in earning rewards, and the importance of recognising Ramadan as an opportunity for positive change.
