Dubai: Two Travellers Hit $1 Million Jackpot, Winners Remain Unreachable
The New Year started with great news for Giuseppe Mangili from Italy and Lina Boulos from the US, who each won $1 million in the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw.
Giuseppe Mangili from Milan won the jackpot in Millennium Millionaire Series 531 with ticket number 4244, which he bought online on December 28. He is the first Italian to win $1 million in the Millennium Millionaire promotion since it began in 1999. Right now, he cannot be reached and is unaware of his new fortune.

Sharad Singh, a 40-year-old Indian, won a Mercedes-Benz S500 (Metallic Paint Obsidian) car with ticket number 0267 in the Finest Surprise Series 1946. The UAE expat purchased the ticket online on December 20 during the Dubai Duty Free 42nd Anniversary.
A resident of Dubai since 2008, Singh has been a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free promotions for six years now and works as a senior project engineer for an oil and gas company.
“Big thanks, Dubai Duty Free! What a great way to start the year! People should keep trying - eventually they can win, especially with the limited number of tickets,” he said.
Rinshad Ali, a 35-year-old Indian based in Oman, won a Ducati Multistrada V2S (Red) motorcycle with ticket number 1100 in the Finest Surprise Series 653, which he purchased online during the Dubai Duty Free 42nd Anniversary on December 20.
Born and living in Muscat, Ali is now a three-time winner of the Finest Surprise motorbike. In 2021, he won two motorbikes: an Indian Vintage Darkhorse (Thunder Black Smoke) with ticket number 0266 in Finest Surprise Series 441 in February and a BMW F 750 GS (Black/Yellow) with ticket number 0801 in Finest Surprise Series 446 in March.
Ali, who works for an audit company, was surprised to learn that one of his 10 Series 653 tickets made him a third-time lucky at Dubai Duty Free.
Lastly, Sujith Bejjarapu, a 28-year-old Indian based in Sharjah, won a BMW R12 NineT (719 Aluminum) motorbike with ticket number 0620 in the Finest Surprise Series 654, which he purchased online on January 10.
A resident of Sharjah for eight years, Bejjarapu has been a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free promotions for two years now and works for a manufacturing and packaging company in Sharjah.“Thank you so much, Dubai Duty Free. It's a very good start to the year,” he said.
