FM Sybiha Discusses Ukraine's EU Accession With Cypriot Foreign Minister
"Had a good call with my Cypriot colleague Constantinos Kombos to congratulate Cyprus on assuming the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. We focused on advancing Ukraine's EU accession, deepening bilateral cooperation, strengthening defense cooperation, and enhancing Ukraine's energy resilience," he said.
The parties also exchanged views on joint peacekeeping efforts and their coordination throughout Cyprus' EU presidency. Sybiha informed his colleague about the situation on the battlefield and the consequences of Russia's aerial terror.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 1, Cyprus officially began its six-month presidency of the EU Council.
