Cabinet Stresses Planned Development Of New Kabul City
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Cabinet has reviewed the assessment of facilities and laboratories at the country's ports, as well as progress on the New Kabul City development project.
In a statement, the Prime Minister's Office said the 11th cabinet meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund.
The meeting tasked a delegation with assessing the required facilities at Islam Qala port in Herat and other ports, including pharmaceutical laboratories and related equipment.
The delegation was instructed to submit its findings to the Office of the Prime Minister to enable necessary follow-up actions.
According to the statement, the Cabinet also discussed the New Kabul City project, emphasizing that construction work must be carried out in accordance with the approved plan.
It stressed that all relevant institutions should cooperate with the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing in implementing the project.
