Dubai: New Parking Tariff Rates In Jumeirah Village Triangle

On Tuesday, Parkin announced that it implemented tariffs on parking in Jumeirah Village Triangle.

The public parking provider also mentioned that it has put forth clear signage indicating that the tariffs will now be charged.

The company highlighted that the operational hours for parking will be from 8am to 10pm.

Here is the complete list of tariffs:

• 0.5 hours - Dh2

• 1 hour - Dh4

• 2 hours - Dh8

• 3 hours - Dh12

• 4 hours - Dh16

• 5 hours - Dh20

• 6 hours - Dh24

• 7 hours - Dh28

• 24 hours - Dh36

Aside from these daily rates, one can apply for a Parkin subscription using their website for lower daily costs and ease of mind. The rates are as follows:

• 1 month - Dh675

• 3 months - Dh1,615

• 6 months - Dh2,420

• 1 year - Dh4,040

In October, the private parking company announced its plan to construct five new multi-story car parks in the next two years to ease congestion at some of Dubai's busiest commercial districts.

Out of the five parking buildings, one is already under construction at Al Souq Al Kabeer in Bur Dubai, and another in Al Sabhka, Al Rigga, is in the design stage. Three more will be located in high-demand districts such as Downtown Dubai and the Deira area.

The company also added Dubai Studio City and Outsource City under its umbrella and applied parking fees in these two areas.
