According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China on December 8, from January to November 2025, China's import and export data of steel, rare earths, automobiles, household appliances, iron, aluminum, coal, copper, etc. are as follows:
1. Steel
In November 2025, China exported 9.980 million tons of steel, an increase of 198,000 tons from the previous month, and a month-on-month increase of 2.0%; from January to November, China exported a total of 107.717 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%.
In November, China imported 496,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 7,000 tons from the previous month and a month-on-month decrease of 1.4%. From January to November, China imported a total of 5.541 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 10.5%.
2. Rare earth
In November 2025, China exported 5,493.9 tons of rare earths; from January to November, the cumulative exports were 58,193.1 tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.7%.
In November, China imported 5,221.0 tons of rare earths; from January to November, China imported a total of 91,110.9 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26.1%.
3. Cars
In November 2025, China exported 818,000 vehicles; from January to November, the cumulative exports were 7.331 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 25.7%.
4. Household appliances
In November 2025, China exported 371.257 million units of household appliances; from January to November, the cumulative exports were 4.082801 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%.
5. Iron
In November, China imported 110.540 million tons of iron ore and its concentrates, a decrease of 769,000 tons from the previous month and a month-on-month decrease of 0.7%. From January to November, China imported a total of 1,139.202 million tons of iron ore and its concentrates, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%.
6. Coal
In November, China imported 44.053 million tons of coal and lignite, an increase of 2.316 million tons from the previous month and a month-on-month increase of 5.5%. From January to November, China imported a total of 431.676 million tons of coal and lignite, a year-on-year decrease of 12.0%.
7. Aluminum
In November 2025, China exported 570,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products; from January to November, the cumulative exports were 5.589 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%.
8. Copper
In November 2025, China imported 427,000 tons of unwrought copper and copper products; from January to November, China imported 4.883 million tons of unwrought copper and copper products, a year-on-year decrease of 4.7%.
In November 2025, China imported 2.526 million tons of copper ore and its concentrate; from January to November, China imported 27.614 million tons of copper ore and its concentrate, a year-on-year increase of 8.0%.
