(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA))
TOKYO, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Embassy in Tokyo cautioned Kuwaiti citizens on Tuesday against aftershocks that are likely to occur due to the earthquake that hit the northeastern coast of Japan on December 8.
The embassy stressed that Kuwaiti citizens must follow Japanese authorities' instructions, which predicted aftershocks in the upcoming days.
It urged them to contact the embassy's +81 90 8884 9650 emergency line or the Foreign Ministry +965 159 emergency number.
The advisory was released after the M7.5 strong earthquake that struck Japan late Monday, during which the Japanese authorities temporarily issued a tsunami warning along parts of the Pacific coast. (end)
