Algeria, Kuwait Discuss Boosting Judicial Cooperation

ALGIERS, Dec 8 (KUNA) -- The visiting Kuwait's President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation, Counsellor Dr. Adel Bouresli, held talks on Monday with Algeria's First President of the Supreme Court, Tahar Mamouni, on means of boosting mutual cooperation in the legal and judicial spheres and swapping expertise in these fields.
A statement released by the Algerian Supreme Court said Mamouni received Counsellor Dr. Bourseli, currently paying an official visit to the country at head of a senior-level delegation.
The two sides during the meeting explored the brotherly and friendly bonds that mark the bilateral relations between the two countries, mounting dynamism in the mutual judicial cooperation, where they affirmed necessity of promoting the bonds to higher levels.
It quoted judge Mamouni as affirming that the two countries have been coordinating on a wide scale in the legal and judicial realms, through the signed agreements that deal with expertise swap and extradition of criminals.
Justice Bouresli for his part lauded the Algerian sector's advance with respect of digitization and combating cybercrimes. (end)
