Türkiye Backs Peaceful Resolution in Russia, Ukraine Conflict
(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Monday, during a conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, that Ankara would persist in its endeavors to help bring the Russia-Ukraine conflict to an end through a fair and enduring peace agreement.
In their telephone discussion, the two heads of state exchanged views on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine confrontation along with various regional and international matters, as reported by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate.
Erdogan emphasized that Turkey remains willing to assist in diplomatic undertakings aimed at enabling direct dialogue between the involved sides and creating conditions for a sustainable resolution.
