Soohyun Cho

Soohyun Cho is an assistant professor at Michigan State University specializing in contemporary fiction, health humanities, disability studies, digital humanities, with a particular interest in cognitive approaches to fiction. Her current comparative study delves into neurodivergent detective figures across Anglophone and East Asian popular culture. As a digital humanist, she is conducting an online experiment to explore the reader's experience with e-books.
As an affiliated faculty at Digital Humanities and Literary Cognition (DHLC) Lab, she is currently involved with interdisciplinary projects, including but not limited to, Neuroaesthetics of Poetry, Narrative Responses to Music, and Creativity in the Time of COVID-19.
