Erdogan Honors 2025 Presidential Culture, Arts Awardees


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan revealed the recipients of the 2025 Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards during a commemorative ceremony for Republic Day held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.

Erdogan stated that the prize in the “Science and Culture” category was awarded to academic Suleyman Seyfi Ogun.

In the “Painting” category, recognition went to Yalcin Gokcebag, while composer Yalcin Tura was honored in “Music,” and archaeologist and scholar Fahri Isik received the award in “Anatolian Archaeology.”

He further noted that the “Photography” award was bestowed upon Anadolu photojournalist Ali Jadallah, who is currently reporting from Gaza.

Additionally, the president announced that this year’s Ataturk International Peace Award will be conferred on United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
