In honor of Student's Day, the Las Garzas Palace has as its head of state Roderick Agudelo, a young man from Chiriquí at the Beatriz Miranda de Cabal School in Dolega, who from a very early age has experienced being“president of Panama for a day.” President José Raúl Mulino himself announced the news on social media with a message full of pride and humor:

“It was a pleasure to meet Roderick, a Chiriquí native like me and a model of hard work. Today he will be President for a day, an experience that reflects the future we want for Panama. Happy Student Day to all the students across the country.”

Roderick 17 arrived at the Palacio de Las Garzas as a leader, met the staff, and occupied the famous presidential desk. The gesture seeks to highlight the importance of Panamanian youth in building the country and motivate students to continue working hard.
