(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Sabah Al- Ahmad Centre for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) announced the conclusion of the Engineering Ideas Incubation Program on Monday with the selection of three innovators to represent Kuwait at Venture Day, an event organized by Spain's global IE University next December.
The center, an affiliate to the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) centers, said in a press release that, following an intensive journey of learning, development, and innovation, the three innovators were selected at the end of the program from among the 21 participants who reached the final stage.
The first innovator, Fatma Al-Enzi, presented the idea (Brailliance), an educational device designed to empower blind and visually impaired students.
The second innovator Dhareaa Al-Jumaa proposed (SPX), a platform that enables professionals in design, contracting, and manufacturing fields to manage furniture supply strategies intelligently.
The third innovator Ahmad Salmeen, introduced (LIVE), an AI-supported design platform that allows architects and designers to create healthier and more sustainable spaces in minutes instead of hours. The platform combines artificial intelligence technologies with principles of sustainability and well-being to simplify the design and analysis process.
The center affirmed that the program reflects its commitment to providing an integrated environment that supports engineering innovation and empowers young minds to develop practical technological solutions that meet both local and global market needs.
It added that the program was launched last May in partnership with the Spanish university, aiming to support and motivate Kuwaiti engineers and innovators.
More than 80 individuals with promising engineering ideas participated in the program, with 21 advancing to the final stage, which included intensive mentorship and guidance sessions led by a group of international experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, and advanced technologies. (end)
