Attempted Revenge Killing Foiled At Peshawar Judicial Complex
Peshawar Police on Monday foiled an attempted revenge killing at the Judicial Complex after recovering a concealed weapon from a woman during security checking.
According to police, at around 9:30am, personnel posted at the main entrance, including lady police, recovered a.30-bore pistol from a woman during frisking. The weapon had been skillfully concealed.
Initial investigation revealed that the woman's son, Bilal, was murdered on September 25, 2023, in Bazidkhel within the jurisdiction of Badaber Police Station. The accused in that case is currently imprisoned at the Central Jail.

Timely action by police and lady constables thwarted the plan. The woman and her husband were arrested, and the pistol and cartridges were seized.
Police added that the arrested suspects have been shifted to the East Police Station for further legal action and investigation.
