Yango Ride Introduces 'Home' And 'My Destination' Features To Help Drivers Earn On The Go

(MENAFN- Mid-East Info) Muscat, Oman - 14 October 2025: Yango Ride, part of the global tech company Yango Group, has launched a“Home” and“My Destination” features within its driver's app in Oman, designed to help partner drivers maximise their earnings and make the most of their time on the road.

With this update, drivers can now choose to pick up one or two additional orders while heading home or near high-traffic areas, without additional commission. The feature enables partner drivers to stay productive during their commute, optimising every journey and improving their income opportunities.

Each driver can use the“Home” and“Point of Interest” options up to two times per day. By selecting their destination, for example, home or a popular district, drivers can receive trip requests in the same direction, helping them earn while travelling toward their chosen area. The feature is completely free to use with basic commission without extra charges, reflecting Yango Oman's continued focus on supporting its driver community with smart, practical tech-driven solutions.

Sheikha Ambuali, Country Manager of Yango Oman, said:“Our partner's drivers are central to Yango's success, and we constantly look for meaningful ways to reward their dedication and effort. The new 'Home' and 'Point of Interest' feature is another step toward helping them achieve better financial stability and flexibility. By giving drivers the ability to earn while heading home or moving through busy areas, we're ensuring that technology continues to work in their favour.”

The new feature builds on Yango Oman's broader mission to create a fairer and more rewarding ecosystem for drivers. In recent months, the company has introduced several initiatives focused on improving drivers' financial well-being and professional support, helping them earn more consistently and benefit from the latest in-app technologies.

Oman's digital transformation continues to accelerate, with investments in AI and smart mobility forming key pillars of the National Programme for the Digital Economy under Vision 2040. Yango's efforts complement these goals by enhancing the role of technology in improving livelihoods, supporting local talent, and driving innovation within the country's growing mobility ecosystem.
