Epson And DAFZ Launch E-Waste Recycling Campaign To Mark International E-Waste Day
Epson and Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ) have joined forces this October to launch an E-Waste Recycling Campaign, reinforcing their shared commitment to sustainability and supporting the UAE's sustainability goals.
Running until 14 November 2025 and inspired by International E-Waste Day on 14 October 2025, the campaign aims to make it easier for DAFZ's business community and employees to dispose of electronic waste responsibly.
E-Waste Smart Bins have been placed in key locations across the free zone where participants can drop off old laptops, tablets, mobile phones, headphones, computer peripherals, and small electronics. Used ink cartridges and toners are also being collected for safe recycling.
The smart bins feature an innovative QR code system that enables users to scan, photograph, and deposit their e-waste securely, ensuring transparent and traceable recycling practices.
“Sustainability has been at the heart of Epson's philosophy throughout our history, and this collaboration with DAFZ builds on this legacy, encouraging people to take small but meaningful steps that collectively make a real difference.”
By participating, DAFZ tenants and employees are helping recover valuable materials, reduce landfill waste, and take measurable steps toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
