Hamish Clarke is interested in bushfire risk, fire management and climate change. In 2022 he was awarded a Westpac Research Fellowship to study the future of fire risk at the University of Melbourne. Hamish was a 2021 Young Tall Poppy and a member of the 2021 Eureka Prize winning NSW Bushfire Hub, based out of the University of Wollongong. He has been a visiting fellow at Western Sydney University and prior to that worked for the NSW Government.
