
Afghan National Volleyball Team Departs For Bangladesh
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Volleyball Federation (AVF) says that the national volleyball team has traveled to Bangladesh to participate in the Central Asian Volleyball Championship.
In a Facebook post, AVF stated that the team left Kabul on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Sports and Physical Training confirmed that the squad recently concluded a two-and-a-half-month training camp in Kabul, organized to prepare for the tournament.
Hosted by Bangladesh, the Central Asian Volleyball Championship will run from October 22 to October 28.
According to the National Olympic Committee, nine teams from Central Asian countries, including Afghanistan, are expected to compete.
Afghanistan are set to begin its campaign against Sri Lanka on October 22.
