(MENAFN- Morimak) Kuwait City, 13 October 2025: Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers enabling digital transformation in Kuwait, hosted an AI film workshop and screening festival in collaboration with the media agency specializing in AI film making, Shift Productions. The objective behind the initiative was to bring participants together to explore the creative potential and possibilities of AI film making through hands-on training delivered by a specialized AI trainer. The initiative was organized under the umbrella of stc’s educational ‘upgrade’ initiative, which falls under one of the key pillars of its extensive corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.
The two-day workshop, led by AI Trainer, Abdulrahman Al-Khamees, introduced participants to creative AI-powered film production techniques and guided them in creating their own short films. Held at stc’s headquarters, the program welcomed more than 30 participants from diverse age groups and backgrounds, reflecting growing interest in merging creativity with the latest AI film production technology. Participants were exposed to insights and guidelines that assisted them in creating their own unique productions, while utilizing Al-Khamees’s expertise throughout their journey.
To celebrate the outcomes of the workshop, stc organized a dedicated AI Film Festival, in the presence of Chief Strategy Officer – Mr. Khalid Al Sudairy and Chief Transformation and Synergies Officer – Mrs. Anoud Muthaib, where participants premiered their films. The festival served as a platform to highlight the innovative ways AI can enhance storytelling, empowering participants to experiment with cinematic techniques beyond traditional methods.
