Indian PM, Canadian Foreign Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, who is currently visiting New Delhi.
Radio Canada International reported that Anand's three-day visit to New Delhi comes at a time when the two countries are working to strengthen relations after two years of diplomatic tension.
Anand said that the meeting with the Indian Prime Minister aimed to build on the momentum gained when Modi visited Canada last June, where he met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
