Beneficiaries Of Jordan's Childcare Centers To Receive Online Learning Content Under New Agreement

Amman, October 14 (Petra) – Ministry of Social Development on Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement with the Abwab Abwaab - Online learning ecosystem – to provide digital educational content to beneficiaries of the ministry's childcare centers, including orphans and children without family support.
Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa, who sponsored the signing ceremony, stated this cooperation strengthens partnerships with the Kingdom's private sector, social responsibility, and new forms of educational leadership.
These agreements, she noted, contribute to facilitating access to digital educational resources for beneficiaries of care centers, including orphans and children without family support, and developing their basic skills using "the best modern" technological means.
Talking at the ceremony, the minister added that the partnership will contribute to helping beneficiaries of care centers continue their education and receive "integrated and interactive" educational content using modern technologies.
This effort aligns with the Ministry's efforts to improve services provided to orphans and children without family support, and introduce the latest methods and tools of digital intelligence to the Ministry's care centers, she pointed out.
Bani Mustafa called for developing services provided to children in foster homes to include beneficiaries who have lost their opportunities to complete their education.
In this context, she noted this action includes equipping beneficiaries with basic educational skills, which will have a positive impact on target groups.
The minister added that cooperation with the Abwab platform will enhance the benficiaries' to use digital tools, contributing to improving their quality of life and enabling them to meet future labor market needs.
In turn, Sherine Barakat, head of the Jordan branch of Abwab AI platform for digital content, noted the importance of cooperation between the private and public sectors.
Barakat also praised the ministry's ongoing efforts to improve services provided to the target groups of its programs and looked forward to continued cooperation in the future.
