UN humanitarian aid trucks get attacked by Russians in Kherson district

(MENAFN) On October 14, Russian troops attacked four vehicles belonging to a humanitarian mission in the Bilozerka community of Ukraine’s Kherson region, using drones and artillery.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported on Telegram: “Russia once again showed its true, disgusting face by attacking a humanitarian mission in Kherson region. In the morning, in Bilozerka community, the invaders deliberately targeted UN OCHA trucks with drones and artillery. Four white vehicles with markings — not military equipment, but trucks delivering aid to civilians.”

Prokudin said that one truck was completely burned and another suffered severe damage, while two vehicles managed to escape the assault. “It’s a miracle no one was injured,” he added.

He also condemned the attack, stating: “Today, the so-called ‘second army of the world’ managed to defeat a few tons of humanitarian aid. It’s an act of terrorism — there’s nothing more to add.”

The incident follows previous Russian attacks in the Kherson region, including one on October 13 that left eight people injured.
