An awards ceremony was held in Colombo recently to recognise the best social worker.

The function was organized by Deshabandhu DR Rishwan Qasim, Executive Director, International Center for the Protection of Human Rights.

The Chief Guest at the occasion was the 6th Executive President of Sri Lanka, Maithripala Sirisena.
