Department Of Meteorology Warns Of Thundery Rain, Strong Wind

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Department of Meteorology has forecast relatively hazy weather at first inshore during the day on Monday, with local rain clouds maybe thundery in places daytime, mild by night, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind in places during the daytime.

Offshore, there will be scattered clouds to partly cloudy at times with a chance of scattered rain.

Wind inshore will be variable, southeasterly-northeasterly at 03–13 KT, gusting to 30 KT with thundery rain. Offshore it will be variable, southeasterly-northeasterly, 03-13 KT.

Sea state inshore will range from 1 to 2 feet, while offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet.

Visibility inshore is expected to range between 4 and 9 km, and from 5 to 10 km offshore.
