
PM Receives Call From UN Chief
Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call on Friday from Secretary-General of the United Nations H E Antonio Guterres.
They discussed developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories in light of the agreement on provisions and mechanisms for implementing the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and means to ensure its full implementation.
The Prime Minister stressed that the success of the first phase of the agreement is a collective responsibility to ensure its implementation and achieve peace and stability in the region. He also affirmed that the State of Qatar will spare no effort in fulfilling its humanitarian, historical, and diplomatic duty towards the Palestinians.
