(MENAFN- KNN India) Noida, Oct 11 (KNN) Raphe mPhibr, a leading Indian drone manufacturer, has acquired 11.5 acres of land from Parag Dairy in Sector 81, Noida, to expand its defence and aerospace manufacturing unit.

The company, which currently operates on a four-acre plot, aims to significantly boost its production capacity through this expansion.

The land transaction, worth around Rs 101 crore, received cabinet approval in July. The Noida Authority is transferring the land without any transfer fee.

As part of the deal, Raphe will finance the relocation of Parag Dairy and construct a new dairy plant on a 10-acre plot in Sector 32 along the Yamuna Expressway. The new facility will have a processing capacity of 400,000 litres per day.

Under the agreement terms, Raphe will pay Parag an additional Rs 10 crore if the new dairy plant is completed within two years.

In case of delays, a penalty of Rs 5 crore per year will apply. Parag Dairy, which received its original allotment in 1991, will be allocated the new land at industrial rates by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between both parties will soon be finalised under NDDB and IDMC guidelines.

Established in 2016, Raphe mPhibr has emerged as a major player in India's defence technology sector. Its drones were deployed during Operation Sindoor earlier this year.

The company's products include the mR10 swarm drone, mR20 logistics drone, Bharat surveillance drone, and X8 maritime drone.

It has also developed India's first military-grade autopilot system and an internal combustion drone engine.

In August, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated Raphe's Noida facility, where the company has already invested Rs 800 crore.

The latest expansion reinforces Raphe's commitment to advancing India's indigenous drone manufacturing ecosystem.
