“Border settlements suffered from artillery shelling originating from Russian territory, including Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region; Bobylivka, Novovasylivka, Chernatske, Rozhkovychi, and Bilokopytove in the Sumy region,” the statement reads.

In the Northern-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors , Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian attacks, with one engagement still ongoing. Since the start of the day, the enemy has carried out four airstrikes, dropping nine guided bombs, and conducted 113 shelling attacks, including nine using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhanshchyna sector , Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk and toward Lyptsi, Kolodiazne, and Kutkivka. One engagement is still underway.

In the Kupiansk sector , the aggressor did not conduct offensive actions

In the Lyman sector , Russian forces launched six attacks near the settlements of Shandryholove, Novoselivka, Torske, and toward Drobysheve. Three engagements are ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near Hryhorivka and toward Yampil and Dronivka. Two engagements are still in progress.

In the Kramatorsk sector , the enemy carried out one unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian positions near Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk sector , Ukrainian troops stopped six enemy assaults near the settlements of Shcherbynivka, Poltavka, Rusyn Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and toward Ivanopillia. One engagement is still active.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, Russian forces made 20 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, Myroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Filiia, and toward Myrnohrad. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy and have already repelled 16 attacks.

In the Novopavlivka sector , the enemy attacked 13 times near the settlements of Sosnivka, Vorone, Sichneve, Yalta, Piddubne, Novomykolaivka, Ternove, Novovasylivka, Novohryhorivka, and Verbove. Six engagements are still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions but carried out an airstrike on Zaliznychne.

In the Orikhiv sector , the enemy launched one attack toward Novodanylivka, which was repelled. An airstrike was also carried out near Stepove.

In the Dniprovske sector, the enemy made two attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses, with one engagement still underway. An airstrike was reported near the settlement of Odradokamianka.

In other sectors of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.

As reported by Ukrinform, total Russian combat losses in personnel from February 24, 2022, to October 4, 2025, have reached approximately 1,114,380 troops, including 950 eliminated in the past 24 hours.
