Daughter Of Journalist Daoud Kuttab Achieves Top Marks At Harvard Law School


(MENAFN- Amman Net) Journalist Daoud Kuttab announced on his page that The Clock Tower Quarterly, a publication by King's Academy, highlighted the achievement of his daughter Dina Kuttab, who was awarded the prestigious Sears Prize at Harvard Law School. The award is given to the two students with the highest academic grades in their class.

A graduate of King's Academy in Amman with honors, Dina has continued her academic excellence and currently serves as an executive editor of the Harvard Law Review. She is expected to graduate from Harvard Law School in May 2026.

In addition to her academic accomplishments, Dina recently announced her appointment at Adams House at Harvard University as a Resident Tutor, where she will support students both academically and socially, with special attention to international students.

Who is Daoud kuttab?

The Palestinian journalist Daoud Kuttab was born in Bethlehem in 1955 and raised in Jerusalem. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in the United States. Kuttab is considered one of the most prominent independent journalists in the region and has made significant contributions to the development of Palestinian and Arab media through the establishment of the Modern Media Institute at Al-Quds University and the launch of Al-Quds Educational TV. He also founded Amman Net, the first internet radio station in the region, and the Arab Media Internet Network (AMIN) to provide alternative media in Arabic.

Kuttab is also a pioneer in the field of community media networks, which he launched to promote independent media in Jordan and the Arab world, managing media projects such as Radio Balad and the Amman Net website, with a focus on delivering reliable content and serving the community. He has received numerous international awards in recognition of his efforts to promote press freedom and human rights and has served as a visiting professor at Princeton University, training young journalists, making him a model of professional commitment and human values in journalism.
