Saudi Contractors Authority & PMI Unite to Advance Project Management Excellence

(MENAFN- bursonglobal) September 30, 2025 Riyadh KSA - Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), a government authority under the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing to drive the development of Saudi Arabia’s construction sector and PMI, a leading authority in project management dedicated to guiding the way to project success, reinforced their strong partnership on the sideline of the Future Projects Forum, organized by SCA on September 8-10, 2025 in Riyadh.
The aim of this strategic partnership is to elevate the capabilities of Saudi project professionals and contractors within the construction industry with specialized informative courses and workshops to advance the skills and knowledge of construction professionals with PMI certifications including PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP)™ certification, delivered by certified expert instructors. PMI has recently launched (PMI-CP)™ certification in Arabic, reflecting its commitment to empowering Arabic-speaking professionals and organizations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in shaping the future of construction.
This partnership leverages SCA Academy's proven training expertise to support the Kingdom's vast infrastructure initiatives, urban planning projects, and the design of smart cities, aligning with the Saudi government's vision for developing smart, sustainable urban environments across the country.
This partnership was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), Abdulmajid Alrashoudi and PMI’s Middle East and North Africa’s Managing Director, Hanny Alshazly.

This partnership also aims at enhancing knowledge sharing of best practices and co-development of case studies and publications to support the strategic plans designed to elevate SCA’s professionals within the contracting sector.
Collaborative efforts will enable both SCA and PMI to actively contribute to regional and global events, advancing thought leadership in construction and project management.
