BPS Organises Annual Exhibition Amalgam
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Birla Public School (BPS) hosted its annual exhibition, Amalgam 2025 – Exploring Beyond Boundaries, featuring contributions from over 1,100 students from Grades VI-XII.
Organised collaboratively by the departments of Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Student Counselling, the exhibition served as a platform for students to present innovative projects, working models, and research-based exhibits.
The Amalgam 2025 was inaugurated by Dr Prabhat Hajela, provost at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, in the presence of school vice-chairman Dr Mohan Thomas, director Lukose K Chacko, and management representative Chindhu Antony.
Principal Dr Anand R Nair welcomed Dr Hajela, who reminded the students that such events was evidence of the fact that schools were not just about books, tests and classrooms, but more about innovative thinking and exploring.
He appreciated the teachers for being there to always guide and help the students to explore and the parents for their love as these two factors play a crucial role in the lives of the students. Dr Hajela also stated that Amalgam reminded him of his days as an IITian.
The exhibition featured a wide array of themes and topics, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of modern learning. Highlights included: Geometric Quest, Pixelverse, Bridgeathon, Galton Board Project, Ideonella Sakaiensis, Chemistry Science Investigation, Mindscape: A Journey into Abilities, Chemistry Scene Investigation, Smart Waste and AI, AI-Powered Crop Disease Detection and Management System, and many more.
The still and working models were a testament to the scientific aptitude and research capabilities of the students. Vice principal Radhika Rele, along with heads of sections and departments, and the faculty, played a vital role in orchestrating the large-scale event, a statement added.
