GCC Chief: Israeli Occupation's Incursions In Gaza Reflects It Aggressive Mindset

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Al-Budaiwi, strongly condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the incursions and brutal aggression carried out by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip, along with the horrific crimes committed against the defenseless Palestinian people.
He emphasized that these actions reflect the aggressive mindset of the occupation and represent a blatant challenge to the international community, its countries, and institutions.
In a statement, Al-Budaiwi affirmed that these repeated crimes constitute a systematic policy of extermination and displacement of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the destruction of any prospects for peace.
He stated that these are war crimes and crimes against humanity that cannot be justified or ignored, and they reflect a mentality based on ethnic cleansing and collective punishment.
The Secretary-General also pointed out that the silence and inaction of the international community in fulfilling its responsibilities encourages the occupation to persist in its criminal practices.
He called for immediate and effective international action to stop these violations and impose accountability on the perpetrators of these crimes before international courts.(end)
