War Update: 114 Combat Clashes On Frontline, Heavy Fighting In Pokrovsk Sector

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook , providing operational information as of 16:00 on Sunday, September 14.

Artillery fire from Russian territory hit border settlements, including Sytne, Malushyne, Rudenka, Sosnivka, Chuikivka, Koreniok, Bachivsk, Novovasylivka, and Brusky in Sumy region; Mykhalchyna Sloboda and Khrinivka in Chernihiv region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors , Russian troops carried out five assaults, one battle is ongoing. Enemy aircraft conducted seven airstrikes, dropping 15 guided bombs, and 110 artillery attacks, including one with MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector , Ukrainian troops repelled four assaults near Vovchansk and toward Odradne; three clashes are ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector , the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Kupiansk and Stepova Novoselivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks near Stavky, Shandryholove, Derylove, Kolodiazi, and Torske; five clashes are currently underway.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks near Hryhorivka, Dronivka, Vyimka, and Fedorivka; five more clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector , five clashes occurred near Stupochky and Oleksandro-Shultyne; two battles are ongoing.

In the Toretsk sector , the Russians launched five assaults near Pleshchiivka, Katerynivka, and Stepanivka, with three repelled, and two still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector , the Russian invaders carried out 35 assaults near Fedorivka, Nikanorivka, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Novopidhorodnie, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, Filiia, Dachne, Novoivanivka, and toward Novopavlivka. Ukrainian forces have repelled 29 assaults, other battles continue.

In the Novopavlivka sector , Russian forces launched 15 attacks at Ukrainian positions near Maliivka, Tolstoi, Oleksandrohrad, Ternove, Berezove, Temyrivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivske; two clashes are ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector , one assault was repelled near Poltavka; Bilohiria and Zaliznychne were hit by airstrikes.

In the Orikhiv sector , two enemy assaults occurred near Novoandriivka and Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovske sector , Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy assaults. Russian aircraft struck Olhivka with unguided rockets.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence and Special Operations Forces carried out complex operations to disrupt railway lines along the Oryol–Kursk and St. Petersburg–Pskov routes.
